Here we have another one of those tracks that you could have sworn was longer than it actually is. There are about eight bars of music in this piece, but that sparseness only helps to amplify the long, repetitive laziness of the hottest days of summer, and it’s that feeling I hoped to capture in this arrangement. Adding a bit of lightness to the Game Brass’s normally heavy sound is Samantha Ballard on harp and ukulele, but nothing in EarthBound can just be normal. So Game Brass regular Daniel Romberger has pulled out his theremin to help make this normally dreamy tune just a little more weird.
