about

It wouldn’t be a proper summer VGM album without some Super Mario Sunshine. Koji Kondo is great at fully exploring a single melodic idea throughout an entire soundtrack, and it only seemed right to explore all of the areas where this theme is used. This arrangement takes you on a tour of Isle Delfino, starting, of course, with Delfino Plaza before heading through Bianco Hills, Ricco Harbor, and Gelato Beach. To make this happen we recruited three times our usual forces to bring you a full 16-piece brass ensemble. Frankly, the more players you have to work with, the easier it gets to arrange the music, as your quickly options open up. I hope you enjoy this tour of Isle Delfino, and first stop on the Brassino Isles Tropical Cruise!
