“Space Boyfriend” is the alter ego of Captain Spaceboy, leader of the Space Pirates, and his relationship status takes him on an emotionally tumultuous journey in a game about tumultuous emotions. This arrangement is actually a medley of multiple tracks associated with Space Boyfriend: “Trouble - NEVER/ALWAYS,” “You Were Wrong. Go Back.,” “You Cannot Go Back” and “Space Boyfriend’s Tape - I Want Nothing More.” To fit with the ridiculousness of Space Boyfriend’s character and the goofy atmosphere of this part of OMORI in general, I wrote myself a theremin part for the arrangement. Whether you feel happy, sad, or angry, we hope you enjoy Space Boyfriend’s heart-pounding and heartbreaking adventures throughout Otherworld and the galaxies!
